Swimming continues to be one of the major sporting disciplines at GGIS. With students taking part in it as a co-curricular activity structured for and in support of academia, for recreational and fitness purposes too.

Swimming as a Co-curricular activity starts right from the Early Childhood Center through junior and senior school. This is done as class lessons and after school activities which range from Developmental swimming, Swim Club to Water Polo and Life Saving.

GGIS continues to hold and develop one of the best competitive swimming programs in the region that keeps the students engaged and motivated to keep swimming non-stop.

The GGIS Swim Club is the competitive side of swimming in the school with the club represented by both junior and senior school students. The GGIS Swim Club has and continues to represent the school in various swim meets locally.
