Education and Learning

GREEN GROVE focuses on holistic education that extends beyond the classroom to embrace a wide range of curricular activities including sports, nature trips, arts and crafts and exploratory excursions that provide a well- rounded experience and development of student potential.

GREEN GROVE International School follows this philosophy and hopes to develop the unique skills of the child. Our core educational values - World Citizenship, Leadership Qualities, Universal Values and Forward Thinking - are combined with an innovative, relevant approach to education.  Exploration, innovative problem solving, independent expression and decision-making are actively encouraged.

Curriculum Information

The GREEN GROVE unique curriculum is a blend of State and CBSE Curriculums and is aligned to current understanding of learning and teaching. It facilitates seamless progress from formative years through schooling to tertiary education while ensuring smooth transition from one curriculum to the other.

The curriculum encourages students to be active learners who explore, understand and participate in the world around them. By exposing students to a wide variety of disciplines, both cognitive and non-cognitive skills are fine-tuned as they prepare for a well-balanced life outside of school.

Embedded in GREEN GROVE Core Values - World Citizenship, Universal Values, Leadership Qualities and Forward Thinking, the curriculum focuses on developing the whole child, individualizing student support, giving students a global and local perspective, developing skills for the future and nurturing the gifted and talented students.

This holistic approach to education introduces children to ideas and experiences that will help them become responsible, active participants in society.

Several skills and qualities that are instrumental to a child’s holistic development are learnt outside the classroom. Remedial Classes

The School provides remedial classes on regular basis considering the children come from different family background with different living standard. There are children with high learning ability who can grasp quite fast and learn better but there are children who needs frequent guidance and support.

Objectives:
To give more help and support for the slow learners
To pay individual attention to the low achiever in the class

Career Guidance

The school-leaving phase is a critical period in the life of a student. Appropriate career planning is vital to ensure that students are well informed about career options and that they are able to understand their own capabilities and align themselves with potential future career choices.

Making the right choice depends largely on a student's possessing a thorough knowledge of oneself as well as the work environment. Students should be clear about their interests, values, needs, aptitudes and abilities. The career guidance programme provides students with comprehensive career options and helps them to seek avenues that match their abilities.
