MEANING:
There is more to obtaining knowledge than merely attending lectures. One of the areas where GREEN GROVE International School, truly excels is the wide variety of available extracurricular activities.
Active involvement in student clubs and associations constitutes a superb way of developing one’s character. In this respect, students at GGIS are presented with a truly wide array of choices. Whether you choose to fully engage and become an active member or perhaps choose to take part only in selected events organized by individual students clubs, you will meet new people, gather new information and perhaps even try something you have never tried before!
Scholastic Scope Magazine builds core language arts skills through thrilling … Here’s how Scope helps you achieve your most important language arts objectives: … challenges students to identify literary devices, explore figurative language, and … in a fun (often humorous) way, and feature authors talking about their craft.
THE OBJECTIVES OF LANGUAGE CLUB ARE:-
• To develop literary skills amongst the students of all classes
• To empower the students to use language as a tool for communications and expression in prose, poetry, dramatics and other writing skills
• To develop confidence level for public speaking
• To empower the students of today to become responsible citizens of the country
• Children need to learn to master skills for living
• Preparing learners for communicative challenges in real life
THE SCOPE OF LANGUAGE CLUB IS VERY WIDE
The Students will get be aware of the importance of language and its usage. They will practically apply their skills in presenting Plays, debates, Quiz, Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Word Building and Vocabulary Competition.
ACTIVITIES
• Students participate actively in NEWS Reading Competition
• Students participate in story telling activity
• Students participate in debate competition
• students participate in quiz competition
• Students participate in inter school poem recitation competition
