GCF is the abbreviation for “
CIVILS FOUNDATION STREAM”. The NCERT curriculum has been adopted in this stream for the standards VI to IX. This stream is available for only VI to IX standards. Parallel to their regular curriculum, students will be provided with a comprehensive material for General Studies (GS) which is one of the papers of Civils examination.
A special emphasis will be given on the following:
- Comprehension
- Interpersonal skills including communication skills
- Logical reasoning and Analytical Ability
- Decision making and Problem solving
- General Mental ability
- Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc., Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc.)
- English language comprehension skills
- Essay writing on current events in National and World Wide
An objective test for 200 Marks named GCFT (GreenGrove Civils Foundation Test) will be taken once in a month.
The main objective of this program is to bring awareness among the students at the school level, about prestigious national services like IAS, APS, IFS and Groups and there by carpeting to their career selection.
